Track Information
Opened by Sir Dave Brailsford, the team director behind the Great Britain Olympic track riders’ success and the amazing successes of Team Sky on the road this facility offers cyclists from across the region the opportunity to ride and race free from the risks associated with shared road use. As well as hosting competitive cycling and training sessions our safe road circuit can be used for a number of different sporting disciplines. To date we have held school fun days, disability cycling, duathlons, inline skating and Nordic skiing. The 1.2 Km circuit is flat and split into 400m and 800m options, so fitness is not an obstacle to use and floodlights allow evening use during the darker months
Track Coaching
Training sessions are held to suit all abilities whether you want to race competitively or simply learn the ropes of bunch riding in a safe environment, British Cycling qualified coaching is available to enable riders to develop their fitness and race strategy, ultimately
Marsh Tracks intends getting locally based riders to compete on the world’s stage, perhaps even a future Tour winner!
Riders benefiting from training at Marsh Tracks have gone on to ride professionally at the highest level and represented their country internationally.
